Classic body systems include the skeletal system, the nervous system, the muscular system, the digestive system, the immune system, the respiratory system, the circulatory system, the urinary systems as well as other systems.
Each of these systems is a channel for energy communication. These energy communication channels effect emotions as well as our sense of self. For example, the nervous system transmits information to the proper part of the brain to be assimilated and sent back to a part of the body it intends to influence. Another example is stress decreases the body’s lymphocytes—the white blood cells that help fight off infection. Lower lymphocyte levels increase the risk of viral infection and common cold. Leukocytes are capable of producing stress-associated peptides and hormones. High-stress levels can also cause anxiety and depression, leading to higher levels of inflammation.
The pathway from the physical body through the hormones to the psychological and emotional body is through the endocrine system, which is closely associated with the chakra system.
Overlapping the endocrine system is the chakra system, our energy system which contains seven vital energy centers that run from the base of the spine to the top of the head, centered on the spinal column. The subtle energies involved in these systems exhibit the internal and external aspects of the human being described as the human biofield or human energy field.
Each chakra is associated with specific organs, emotions, and aspects of our lives. They are as follows, very shortly described:
- The Root chakra is located at the base of the spine. The root chakra is connected to our sense of security and stability. This chakra is about grounding, connection to your roots and survival emotions. A balanced root chakra makes us feel safe and supported.
- The Sacral chakra is located in the lower abdomen. It 's the seat of your creativity and of strong emotions. The corresponding emotions here belong to relationships with intimate partners, sensuality and sexuality, procreation and reproduction. When energy flows easily here you feel creative, inspired, passioned, playful, in harmony with the other sex and in touch with your senses.
- The Solar plexus chakra is positioned in the upper abdomen. The emotions here correspond to how a person deals with life, structure, foundation, daily living. A well-balanced solar plexus chakra gives your personal power to feel more balanced, more connected to self and others while maintaining personal boundaries. You also feel more empowered and energized to set goals and work towards your dreams.
- The Heart chakra is located at the center of the chest, connects us to others and helps us understand the energy of others. A well balanced heart chakra helps us love the self and others, live joyfully, understand the experiences we have with others and why some people come into our lives. We see the challenges of life as lessons instead of crushing experiences.
- The Throat chakra is located at the base of the neck. This chakra is about communication. If in balance, you feel able to speak freely in a level-headed manner, you speak the truth without fear. In a state of equilibrium, you express yourself clearly and concisely, communicate well with others, and have a clear voice, and precise speech.
- The Third Eye Chakra is located in the middle of your forefront, in the pituitary gland. It is the seat of Intuition. Our ability to listen and interpret the unseen energies from others and our environment. A well balanced third eye chakra helps us reduce mental chatter, improve confidence in our abilities, plan with confidence and improve our overall mental health.
- The Crown Chakra is located in the pineal gland and corresponds to our connection to higher energies. Our crown chakra is connected to our sense of purpose, our compassion, empathy and our connectivity with all of life.
*Additional Chakras and energy points are also part of our systems. The template described above with the 7 chakras is a main frame of the many types of chakra systems found in the human energy field.

For the session, patients can be lying comfortably on a bed or sitting in a chair at home while the practitioner non-invasively assesses their aura and releases energetic blockages from the body. As the blockages are being released and chakras are being balanced, patients will experience a rebalancing process that may evoke a variety of emotions or physical sensations.
